How should we solve the problem of rubber conveyor belt slipping during use? Let's take a look together below!
1. Starting too fast can also cause slippage. At this time, you can start slowly. If using a squirrel cage motor, it can be jog twice and then restarted, which can effectively overcome the slipping phenomenon.
2. The initial tension is too low. The insufficient tension at the point where the conveyor belt leaves the drum causes the conveyor belt to slip. This situation usually occurs during startup, and the solution is to adjust the tensioning device and increase the initial tension.
3. If the load on the conveyor belt is too high, it will slip even if it exceeds the capacity of the motor. The advantage of slipping at this time is that it provides protection for the motor. Otherwise, the motor will burn out over time. But for operation, it is a slip accident.
4. Too many tail drum bearings or upper and lower roller bearings are damaged and unable to rotate. The reason for the damage is that the tail of the aircraft has too much floating and sinking, and the damaged or non flexible components have not been repaired and replaced in a timely manner, resulting in increased resistance and slipping.
5. The insufficient friction between the transmission drum and the conveyor belt causes slippage. The reason for not using it is mostly due to water on the conveyor belt or humid environment. The solution is to add some rosin powder on the drum. But be careful not to add it by hand, and use a blower to blow it in to avoid personal accidents.
